Plans have been approved to display a hidden Roman mosaic beneath a glass floor in Red Lion Yard. First uncovered in the 1850s and rediscovered in 2023, this incredible piece of history will be publicly visible for the first time in around 1,800 years. Once complete, it will be a free, year-round heritage attraction, adding a fascinating historic twist to your visit.
