This year, the festivities kick start with our annual Christmas Lights Switch On event on Wednesday 13th November. The excitement will commence from 5:30pm at The Courtyard, with live performances from Jupiter Ray, Yazmin Wood, and more, throughout the evening.

The Courtyard is back
In addition to the exciting live entertainment throughout the evening, our brand new pop-up bar, Popina at The Courtyard, will be opening its doors on Wednesday 13th November until the end of December. Join us throughout the festive season for the ultimate Christmas Aurora experience. Enjoy Christmas under the lights while indulging in locally made food by The Greek Kitchen, scrumptious cocktails, and live entertainment.
Meet Santa
The fun doesn’t stop there! This festive season, Santa’s sleigh is making a special stop in Colchester, and he’s setting up his magical grotto in the heart of Lion Walk Shopping Centre. From Wednesday 13th November onwards, you can trade in your wish lists for facetime with Santa himself. This is the perfect opportunity for your little ones to experience our brand new Santa’s Grotto, and receive a special gift to take home including. Santa has selected a range of toys, suitable for different ages.
