What an incredible evening to officially kick off the festive season! The streets of Colchester came alive as the Lion Walk community gathered for the much-anticipated Christmas Lights Switch-On. The Courtyard was excitedly buzzing, filled with laughter, music, and the unmistakable magic of the holidays.
From start to finish, the night was nothing short of spectacular. The entertainment was top-notch, with live performances from Jupiter Ray, Yazmin Wood, and more keeping the festive vibes flowing all evening long. The crowd was treated to an unforgettable countdown, culminating in the dazzling moment when the Christmas lights lit up the night sky at 7:30 pm.
But the magic didn’t stop there! Santa, the Grinch, Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and even Bluey made special appearances, adding extra joy to the evening. The smiles on the faces of everyone—from children to adults—proved just how much this event meant to the community.
And let’s not forget the opening of Popina Bar! The festive cheer continues with delicious food, drinks, and plenty of entertainment, making it the perfect spot to unwind after shopping. Santa’s Grotto is open, so there’s still time to create special memories with the little ones.
