Our bodies crave the sun’s natural light and it’s important that we get light to help our bodies.

Spend time with friends

Free Kids Workshop this October Half Term at Lion Walk Shopping Centre

Let your kids unleash their creativity this October with a Tom Knight-inspired kids crafts workshop provided by ArtEatEvents. Join the team on the 28th & 29th of October for a fun-packed day creating unique crafts at Lion Walk Shopping Centre.

The workshop is inspired by local artist and children’s book illustrator, Tom Knight, who created the piece entitled “Colchester”, which draws inspiration from the place itself and the people and stories of the city’s past and present. The piece can be found in Lion Walk Shopping Centre’s ceiling space, by the way leading to Red Lion Yard. This will also be the meeting point for our crafts workshop on both days, the mural tunnel at the entrance to Red Lion Yard.

All materials will be provided and children will be able to take their created crafts home with them. Recommended for ages 3-11 years, we encourage parents to stay and supervise their child at all times. You’ll find us in the mural tunnel at the entrance to Red Lion Yard.
